Alastair Greener
In Nov. 1985 I sailed from South hampton to NYC with my Wife, two small children, a Newfoundland pup and the Range Rover we drove from Dhahran, S.A.The pup made the front page of the ship's newsletter.
In Oct. 2002 I sailed from NYC to South Hampton with a companion (I think it was West to East it was a Halloween cruise).
So i called today to book an Oct. cruise on the Queen Mary 2 and was told that there was no record of my trips. There was a record of a Mrs. Schumacher at the address I gave for one of the homes I own ( She died in 1988 and I bought that home from her estate in 1995).
Your records should be available to verify these trips. Can you solve this problem?

Looking forward to more on Queen Elizabeth and like many Cunarders, await with anticipation, details of namimg of this great new addition to the "family".
Another suggestion, Cunard, from my recollection only serve draught Stella Artois and Becks lager. Given the "British" connection, why not sell a UK draught Lager, such as Carling and or Tennants lager.
I am sure some of our American Cousins would enjoy sampling some of our fine UK beers as they cross the Pond heading to the UK for the first time!!

I am new to your blog Alastair but really enjoy it and love checking the Bridge Cam. I got excited to see Thomas as we have met him on two previous cruises and both Thomas and Neil have been to visit my girlfriend Sue who lives here in Mandurah, Western Australia. It will be great to catch up with him again in 2011 on the Queen Elizabeth when we sail with her from LA to Sydney (hopefully Fremantle if they eventually say we can disembark there) on her World Cruise. We are hoping that maybe Greg will reside in the pub as we loved him on the Queen Victoria. Keep the blog coming. Val
