Thank you for your Christmas greetings, However I would like to point out that there are 2 Cunarders in our house & we are at home because of the flight problems when we should be happily sailing the Caribbean on the QM2.
Happy Christmas all

Alastair i just want to say how exciting it is to follow your adventures, especially the new QE construction process. As a past QE2 cruiser i am looking forward to sailing on the new ship. I have just booked my dad and myself on the Sydney-Hong Kong sector for feb, 2011.Very excited. I would like to see some more pictures of the stern section of the new liner to get an idea of the new shape. Looking forward to the next post.

Cheers,

Brogan.

Oh my gosh AMAZING! Really really cool video and awesome pictures, I can't wait to see the final draft of the new Queen! Cunard Line has never ever built a single ugly ship, and I think the new QE is a perfect representation of their perfection in ship design!

Hi Alastair,
Thank you, another great film. Could you put all these films on to a dvd and sell them in the Cunard's on board shops? I would certainly buy one.

Just a note about the above internal photos, the two staircase ones are really small and hard to see the details yet the bridge one is a nice high resolution one. Could yoou get them to change them? Thanks once again.

How different the construction methods between my beloved RMS Queen Elizabeth (Hull 552) at John Brown & Co./Clydebank and the new Queen Elizabeth at Fincantieri.

I shall be curious to see, and sail aboard, the finished product!
