Great to see the new queen on her way to reality at last. can’t wait to join her for her third voyage to the Aegean in November 2010. We’re traveling from Australia especially to join our relatives on the voyage.

Thanks so much for these fantastic pictures and the update on her construction. I’m looking forward to being in New York in January 2011 when the three sisters will meet for the first time. By the way, do you know who will name Queen Elizabeth?

I look forward to the next installment.Could I suggest you compile the build process onto a DVD similar to the lecture/program that was shown on Tv on Queen Victoria during our cruise to Norway last July.It was very interesting to watch the ship transform from the first block to the magnificent ship it is now. It would make a nice memento during the maiden season.

please ensure it is announced when she will be in the harbour of Trieste before sailing for Southampton so I can fly out and see her in this beautiful port that is so famous for its shipping history. I saw the QE2 there on 2 occasions…fogbound Nodouble

Very exciting but such a shame it’s not a British build in the same manner it’s such a shame that QE2 is in Dubai and worse still that it’s funnel is being removed. Good blog though.
